Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Policy for your region

United States (CCPA / CPRA & state laws)

Based on your location, the following laws apply to the collection and use of your personal information:

  • CCPA / CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.)
  • State privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others)

Who we are

TimeHub ("we", "us") operates the store at timehub.com. We sell lifestyle and electronics products directly to consumers. For privacy matters, contact privacy@timehub.com.

What we collect and why

We collect only the personal information needed to run the store:

  • Order details and delivery information (name, email, phone, delivery address) — to process and fulfil your order, arrange delivery, and handle returns and refunds. Basis: performance of a contract.
  • Payment confirmation details — we take payments through trusted processors and never store your full card number. We record only the confirmation reference and last digits needed to reconcile the order. Basis: contract and legal obligation.
  • Account and review data — if you create an account or post a review, we store your login identifier and the review content. Basis: contract and, for reviews, consent.
  • Support correspondence — when you contact us, we keep the conversation to resolve your query. Basis: legitimate interest (serving you).
  • Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, used to keep the site secure, diagnose faults, and fight fraud and abuse. Basis: legitimate interest (network and information security, per GDPR Recital 49 and equivalent laws).

We do not sell personal information, do not run third-party ad networks, and do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

Currency and country display

To show prices in your local currency and to present the correct legal policy, we look up the country associated with your IP address using a third-party geolocation service (ipwho.is). The lookup is cached keyed by a hashed form of the IP — your raw IP address is not stored by us or retained in our logs for this purpose. Your explicit currency selection, when you make one, always takes priority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies (session and cart state, security tokens) plus, where enabled, the currency preference you choose. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

We share personal information only with the providers needed to operate the store, under data-processing agreements, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Payment processors (to take payment);
  • Delivery carriers (delivery address and phone number);
  • Product-fulfilment partners holding encrypted data where you have placed a CJ-based order;
  • The geolocation provider described above (country-level lookup only).

We never sell your personal information. International transfers (where a provider is outside your region) are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep data

Order records are retained for the period required by tax law (typically 7 years). Reviews remain until removed. Support conversations are kept for 3 years. Technical and audit data is retained on a defined schedule and purged automatically. Where you ask us to delete data and no legal obligation to keep it applies, it is erased or anonymised.

How we protect data

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Sensitive personal information is encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is role-limited, logged, and reviewed. If a breach affects your personal data, we notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Children

The store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights (United States (CCPA / CPRA & state laws))

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA grants you the following rights. Other US state privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others) grant similar rights to their residents. You can exercise them by emailing privacy@timehub.com.

  • Know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, share, and sell.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct — correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of sale/sharing — direct us to stop "selling" or "sharing" your personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit sensitive data use — where applicable, restrict our use of sensitive personal information.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercise these rights.
  • Opt-in for minors — we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 and have no actual knowledge of such activity.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information as traditionally understood, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may still exercise the rights above at any time via privacy@timehub.com, or by using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal set in your browser. We respond to verified requests within 45 days (extendable by a further 45). You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown here and, where required, brought to your attention when you next visit.
